Ranking Appeals

If your business was evaluated and you believe the result rests on incorrect data, you can appeal. Appeals are decided on facts, not preference.

What an appeal can address

An appeal may identify possible errors such as:

  • Incorrect review data
  • Incorrect founding year
  • Incorrect licensing information
  • Incorrect location or service-area information
  • Missing material evidence
  • Mistaken business identity or duplicate records
  • Other factual errors affecting the evaluation

What an appeal cannot do

A business cannot successfully appeal merely because it dislikes its ranking. The review determines whether the underlying data or the application of our methodology was incorrect; the question is not whether the business owner believes they deserve a higher position. Rankings cannot be purchased, and appeals are not a path to a paid result.

How review works

Your submission creates an internal review record. A researcher re-examines the sources used in the evaluation, and a reviewer decides whether a factual error occurred. If it did, the ranking is corrected through the normal update workflow. Submissions never modify published data directly.
